    Back to coding..

Been living desktop deployment and system integration for the past 3 or so years in my day job. Getting back to coding is a welcome change. Playing with Silverlight, WPF and Web services on a community project I'm working on. More details to come in the next week or two.

    New look for the site..

I've taken Kevin Harder's "Gulf Coasting" theme, which I ran for a week or so, and modded it purely by swapping / updating a few images and playing with CSS.. no hard-coded changes at all! Anyhow, here's a before shot (of the stock Gulf Coasting layout): And here's now:...

    What is a BlogCrumb anyway?

So, turns out someone has already come up with the phrase " BlogCrumbs ". Possibly more than one definition (none was defined on the WikiPedia ), but I was feeling lucky .. and here's what they have to say: From BlogLiners : "Let's try an experiment we at Blogliners call "Blogcrumbs"...

    YAGNI..

YAGNI is a very interesting paradigm for most of us that were formerly taught to pride ourselves on “thinking outside of the box” and think “beyond the horizon” when coding. In the years past, we have typically been given a set of requirements laid out in very vague terms and...
